Brillo BabyWith Christmas just around the corner, I apologize today's post is a cleaning tip and not a baking tip...
That said, I don't know about what sorts of things end up in your bathroom sink (no judging) but my husband, Russell's, shaving cream leaves a sticky residue that is difficult to clean up and don't even get me started about our daughter, Mia's, mascara. This morning I thought I would try using a Brillo pad to gently cleanse away the sticky stuff. Guess what!? It worked! For those of you not raised in the 1970's, Brillo pads are steel wool pads, loaded with soap and used for scouring pots and pans. Yes, it is an odd recommendation... Steel wool and bathroom sinks? So, use a very gentle hand and designate that Brillo pad to the bathroom only. Our sinks are composite, not ceramic that could easily scratch, so keep that in mind and Brillo baby! Do you have any tips for cleaning to share in the comments section? I know it's a little boring but our homes have to get cleaned and ready for Santa right?
