Extra! Extra!

Leftover is considered such a bad, sad term, but, it shouldn’t be. Like any connotation, it’s all in the way you think about it. I say, bring it! Leftover is a good, happy term. What’s sad and bad is noleftover cake or worse, no leftover pie. What’s sad? No leftover cookies or pizza or chicken or pasta or wine. Last night, my husband Russell and I had fresh bangers I grilled on the stove while  leftover garlic pasta reheated in the oven. I ate mine over fresh (leftover spinach) and he ate his with a side salad. For dessert we ate leftover chocolate cupcakes I made for Valentine’s Day. It was a quick and delicious meal to eat while sipping leftover wine. I say, ‘Extra! Extra! Eat all about it!’
