Buzz, Buzz, Buzz... Went the Coffee... There are many "happy" sounds in life. The sound of a child's laughter, the snap of a crispy cookie, the whisper of sweet nothings in your ear and the buzz, buzz, buzz of a coffee machine. Ahhhh. Buzzing brings joy. Buzzing brings the promise of a fresh start. Buzzing means it's time to do something!
This morning over BBC News, buzz, buzz, buzz... went the coffee. Buzz, buzz, buzz went my brain. As I watched the dark nectar pour into my cup I gazed out over the snow-topped roof. As sugar and condensed milk glided into the cup, I dreamed of exploring new places. As I stirred to combine the goodness of coffee, milk and sugar, I thought about a warm shower, a hot breakfast and allowing my day to unfold. The first rich sip helped wake me up. By the time I was halfway through the cup, I was alert. By the last sip, I wished the cup was full again, like the bottle of port in "It's a Wonderful Life." Wouldn't that be fabulous? A cup of coffee that refilled? Well, that is stuff of night time dreams, not daylight reality.

I agree with your sentiments. There are many joyous sounds of life. You only have to open up your ears to the sounds you hear anywhere. The simple sounds of animals and children can make the world a happier place. I actually have a friend who's into music recording. He actually thinks that natural sounds of nature are what's best as background noises in most scenes.
