Children push their way into our lives, figuratively and literally. Children burrow into our hearts and hold onto our souls. Children change us and bless us. Children bring us joy and unimaginable sadness. Children grow up and move out, come back and go back and come back and then, eventually out. Children have lots of "going" as they experience college; parents do too. Going involves joy and stress and worry and wonder. Joy, we, as parents, raised a trustworthy and wonderful person. Stress as we know they are on the road back to college. Worry over them for, well, everything, which never ends. Wonder over the amount of love and pride we can feel.
