This morning I was a bit busy, Dear Readers.
I finished weeding the front and cleaned up all of it but the largest pile from the side of the house which I left for my husband, Russell, to clean up, so he doesn’t feel left out but part of the party. I found an infestation of some sort of bug that I think is actually the four lined bug and I sprayed all over the front with oil of neem, to hopefully get rid of it and, at least torture, if not kill, the Japanese beetles which are destroying my beautiful roses. Then, I came inside to feed and take care of our dog, Lollipop, and showered and then cleaned the bathrooms and now I'm multitasking by having my coffee while blogging and beginning my a silly Netflix series before editing my cookbook, again. I did all these morning dos in the morning dew amid the weeds and bugs and half sunshine. Now that I am clean and coffeed, it’s time to get thinking about less dew and more do, in other words inside-type doing. Dinner is planned and will be of the burger variety with avocado and something involving potatoes. No matter, an oven will not be involved since I don’t “do” ovens in hot and humid weather. How about you? What are your morning dos like, Dear Readers?
