Baby it’s cold outside. It’s so cold outside my bones ache. Cold enough that I think to myself self, it’s time for mulled wine for her ladyship. Now you may be thinking mulled wine? Yep. It’s easy to make and fortifying too, There is nothing more warming to the bones plus it’s relaxes the muscles. Okay. Okay. Enough already right? I had you at baby.
To make mulled wine:
Fill your favorite mug with your favorite red wine (no judging).
Sweeten the wine with brown sugar to taste (start with a tablespoon)
A dash of Glogg (if you don’t have this spice mix, add a tiny pinch of ground clove and a bigger pinch of ground cinnamon)
Heat until warm over medium-lowheat. Serve in a mug.
-Of course the wine may be simmered over low heat longer along with a cinnamon stick and a while clove but above is the quick method to a warm drink.
