Nearly post spring and pre-summertime is a perfect time to go for a walk and search for pops of color. Our youngest daughter, Mia, and I went walking through a field of wild flowers where migratory birds perch and feed and native plants thrive. We slopped through mud and the occasional puddle up hills and down hills and all the while the scent of wild jasmine hung in the air. It was a perfect afternoon constitutional and a great way to work up an appetite for lunch.
