This morning’s overcast sky made way for a spring shower that will feed the earth and clean the air. The cool breeze enticed me to do some weeding in the rain,; just me, our dog, Lollipop, and the mosquitoes. Irregardless of the mosquitoes, roses need pruning, weeds need pulling and debris needs clearing. The peas I planted in May are in bloom and my blueberries are ripening beneath a cage to protect them from birds. Lollipop is on full alert as squirrels raid my bird feeders and bunnies eat my greens but she tries her best to either scare them away or catch them. So far, Lolly is not very successful at either but she has a good time. I have to admit, mosquitoes or no mosquitoes, so do I.
